How we make money
Sponsored schools
A partner can pay to appear in a labeled Sponsored list. Those placements are marked, and they are a separate list from the ranking.
Clicks and requests
We may be paid when you click a sponsored school or ask that school for information. The button says so, and the link is marked sponsored.
What money cannot buy
A partner cannot buy a rank, a methodology, or a place in the not-sponsored list. Our opinions are our own.
Who writes and reviews
Rankings are written by the education desk and reviewed by the data desk before they go up. The fact-check covers the published figures, the ordering rule, and the wall between sponsorship and rank.
